VPNKG Client Setup Guide

Follow one continuous workflow to import your subscription and test the connection.

Create an account and open the user dashboard

Start on VPNKG’s account creation page and choose a username and password. No email address is required; your username and password are all you need to create an account. You’ll use the username to sign in later. Choose a password you don’t use for other services and save it in a password manager. Before submitting, check your entries, especially letter case, input method, and any accidental spaces.

Once your account is created, open the user dashboard. If you’re still on the login page, sign in with the credentials you just set. You’ll use the dashboard to choose a plan, get your subscription, and access the client. The marketing site explains the service; the dashboard shows the status of your account. Bookmark the dashboard so you can return to the same place from another device.

After opening the dashboard, check your account details. An empty subscription section doesn’t mean account creation failed; you’ll get a subscription after choosing a plan, paying, and confirming activation. Don’t create another account to troubleshoot this, and don’t save your password on a public device. If you can’t sign in, check your username and password, then see the Help Center’s account and subscription guide.

Choose a plan and review your order

Once your account is ready, open the Plans section in the dashboard. Consider how regularly you’ll use the service: a monthly subscription may suit everyday work and frequent access to international sites, while a data plan may be a better fit if your usage varies and you want unused data to remain available. Your choice determines how data is billed. You don’t need a separate account for each device—VPNKG supports unlimited simultaneous devices.

Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Monthly data resets on your activation date, not at the start of the calendar month. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Data plans include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB; they last until used and never expire. Choose a plan based on your usage, not just the number of devices.

After choosing a plan, follow the dashboard prompts to create an order. Check the plan, amount, and billing method, then pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. When you return from the payment page, check your subscription status in the account overview. If it still says pending, check the order status before trying to pay again. If the status hasn’t updated, submit your order details in a dashboard support ticket. Don’t include your password or full subscription link.

VPNKG offers a 7-day money-back guarantee. Read the full policy in the Terms of Service. For a side-by-side comparison of plans and prices, visit the plan pricing page. Confirm that your subscription is active before continuing; the client can retrieve the full configuration only when the dashboard shows an active subscription.

Get your subscription link and prepare to import it

Open the account overview in the dashboard and find the subscription section. The subscription link lets the client retrieve server configurations; it isn’t a webpage you need to keep open in your browser. Usually, you can copy the link and paste it into your client. If the dashboard offers an import option for your installed client, you can use that instead—but check in the client that the configuration was added.

Use the dashboard’s copy button rather than selecting part of the address manually. The parameters at the end of the link are part of your configuration credentials; leaving any out may cause the import to fail. If you’re unsure what’s on your clipboard, check it on a personal device before pasting. Don’t share the link in public chats, online checking tools, or shared documents.

The sample address below is for format reference only. It won’t connect and can’t be imported as a working configuration:

https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN

For actual use, copy the link from your personal dashboard—never use the example in this guide. Treat your subscription link like a password. If you need help, describe the error or share a screenshot with your credentials obscured. If you think the link has been exposed, reset it using the dashboard and import the new link on every configured device. For details, see the Help Center guide to updating and resetting subscriptions.

After copying the link, keep the dashboard accessible and open its client section to choose your device platform. You can use the same account on different platforms, but you’ll need to import the configuration separately in each client. Connecting on your computer won’t set up another device automatically.

Import the client on your platform

First, open the client section of the dashboard and find the client and installation instructions for your device. You need to sign in to access downloads, and installer availability depends on your subscription status. For iOS, follow the App Store instructions in the dashboard. This guide doesn’t provide installer links. If you already have a client, check that it supports the subscription format provided in the dashboard. Don’t paste the link into a field for a single server address.

Windows: Add a subscription in configuration management

On Windows, use a desktop client that supports subscription management and system proxy settings. For the recommended installation, follow the VPNKG client instructions in the dashboard. When you first open the client, look for “Configuration,” “Subscription,” or “Profiles.” Choose the option to add a subscription by link and paste the complete address. If prompted for a name, use a label that’s easy for you to recognize. It’s only displayed locally and won’t change your account or server.

Save the subscription, then download or update the configuration. Check that it appears in the configuration list, set it as the current configuration, and open the server list. Seeing the list confirms that the configuration was retrieved, but it doesn’t mean browser traffic is going through the client yet. Connect and enable the relevant system proxy setting. If the system asks for network access, verify the app’s source and follow the installation instructions. You can set the client to launch at startup after testing the connection.

macOS: Import the subscription and check the active configuration

On macOS, use a desktop client that supports subscription imports and system network routing. Get the installation instructions from the dashboard’s client section. If macOS asks you to confirm the app or its permissions on first launch, follow the system prompts and check the details. Open the client’s configuration management section, choose Remote Configuration, Subscription Link, or a similar option, paste the dashboard link, and save. Wait for the configuration to update.

Some clients keep multiple configurations. After importing a new subscription, make sure the VPNKG configuration is selected. Open the server list to check that it loaded, then connect. If the app says it’s connected but your browser behaves the same way, check whether the system proxy or network routing mode is enabled; don’t reinstall the app repeatedly. For permission issues, see Connection and troubleshooting topics.

Android: Import the subscription and allow network access

On Android, use a mobile client that supports subscription links and the system VPN interface. After installing it using the dashboard instructions, open the configuration or subscription page and choose Import from URL. Paste the complete link into the address field and save it. If the app offers a QR code scanner, use it only if the dashboard displays a subscription QR code. QR codes contain the same personal credentials as links and shouldn’t be shown publicly.

After updating the configuration, select it, open the server list, choose a server, and connect. Android may ask you to allow a VPN connection. This gives the client permission to handle your device’s traffic; verify that the app is correct before allowing it. Keep the client in the foreground for your first connection test. If it disconnects in the background, check background activity and battery settings. Avoid changing a lot of advanced options before the configuration has loaded.

iOS: Add a configuration from the subscription option

On iOS, use a mobile client that supports subscription imports and system VPN configurations. Follow the dashboard instructions for the specific app and how to get it. After installing, open the app using the import option provided for that client in the dashboard. To import manually, open the subscription or configuration management section in the app, choose Add by URL, paste the link, and update it. Don’t enter the subscription link in a single server’s host field.

Once the configuration includes servers, select one and connect. The first connection may prompt you to add a VPN configuration; follow the device instructions to authorize it, then check the status in the app. If tapping the import link doesn’t open the app, copy the link and add it manually instead of repeatedly tapping. If the server list is empty after import, update the configuration and check that your dashboard subscription is active.

Connect to a server and test cross-border access

After importing the configuration, choose a server in the client and connect. For your first session, keep the client’s default routing settings. Once everything works, you can adjust the rules. VPNKG covers 100+ countries / 180+ servers, but how services identify your location and which account requirements apply vary by platform. Choose a server based on what you need to access and the options shown in your client; coverage doesn’t guarantee that every site will work from every location.

Test with a website or app you actually need to access. First, check that the client shows a connected status. Then open the service, refresh the page, and confirm that the content loads. If your client has a connection log or request view, use it to check whether the request is routed through the client. A system VPN indicator or connected status in the app is only part of the check—the actual result matters too. Once verified, set up your other devices one at a time.

If a website still won’t load, check in the dashboard that your subscription is active and has available data, then update the client configuration. Next, make sure the right configuration is selected, the system proxy or VPN is enabled, and no other network tool is handling traffic at the same time. Leave other settings unchanged and try a different server to help identify whether the problem is with the server or your device configuration. Change one setting at a time so you can tell what made a difference.

If websites load but an AI tool or video platform still reports a location issue, there’s no need to create another VPNKG account. Your network exit location, the platform’s account region, and its own policies are separate factors. For AI tools, see the AI Tools guide; for viewing regions and video quality, see the Streaming guide. This page is focused on completing client import and connection checks, not explaining platform policies.

Keep the dashboard handy and remember how to update your subscription and switch servers. If an issue comes up, note your device platform, client name, the step where it occurred, and any on-screen message. Then look for the right topic in the Help Center. If you need support, open a ticket in the user dashboard and explain whether you can’t import, connect, or access a particular service. A clear description makes it easier to identify the issue than simply saying “it doesn’t work.”
